Master Planning - Created and validated a corporate master plan in 2000 or all administrative and field operations within the Arizona region including an evaluation of growth projections/work zones, 10 year budgets and cash flows. This master plan was updated in 2004 to reflect Maricopa County growth trends, Cox organizational changes and established a template for future Area Service Centers.
Specific Assignments:
- Developed facilities planning and facilities organizational concepts to increase efficiencies and reduce operating costs using benchmarking data for existing and new facilities.
- Prepared and coordinated issuance of modular furniture request for proposal. Scope of services included identification of qualified suppliers, set up of modular furniture workstation mock-ups, creation of evaluation matrix, and facilitation of client decision making.
- Conducted Due Diligence evaluation process for proposed client lease facility to include field observation/documentation of existing conditions, recommendations of potential building system repairs and/or upgrades, and identification of modifications required to adapt building and site to client needs.
- Designed Prototype Area Service Center concept that can be adapted to multiple site locations with minimal changes. Prototype can also be easily scaled up or added on to as service area growth demands. Prototype was designed to be flexible for future adaptations.
- Coordinated tenant improvement design and construction for several sites. Scopes included training center, new data center including back-up generator, and I.S. server farm.
