Overview: 

Karen has extensive experience in commercial interiors including over 12 years dedicated to corporate facilities and their unique challenges. Her early work consisted of programming, space planning, and specifications of systems furniture. Working with fortune 500 clients such as Qwest Communications, TCI, TeleTech and JD Edwards, she became a furniture expert. She later moved into management roles and advanced her skills in process development, benchmarking, budgets, training, presentations and most of all people skills. Her ability to listen and communicate effectively has increased her opportunity for successful projects and relationships. In the past 5 years Karen has managed significant projects for Kaiser Permanente, Hewlett Packard, Southern California Edison and Sempra Energy Solutions. She has expanded her skills in project management, architectural and interior design, master planning, construction documents, cost estimating, and construction management.

With scope, schedule and budget always in mind, Karen takes ownership of all projects she manages and challenges all on her team to minimize risk by following proven action steps and communicating effectively. Her positive attitude and creative thought process allows her to see a fresh approach to difficult situations.
